Glögi Spice Mixture for White Wine |

Add to white wine or juice, heat gently, and hey presto - glögi or mulled wine, quickly and conveniently! Ingredients:
500 ml water |
300 ml sugar |
2 cinnamon sticks |
1/2 tablespoon clove |
3 oranges, zest of, julienned |
1 teaspoon cardamom seed |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to boil and allow to simmer for 15 minutes. 2. Sieve the mixture and store in the fridge. 3. Use 100-200 ml of the spice mixture per one (750 ml) bottle of white wine (or equal amount of fruit or berry juice): mix and heat gently. |
