Low carb alternative to sugared pecans for the holidays. Ingredients:
2 quarts pecan halves |
1 3/4 cups splenda granular, sugar substitute |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
4 teaspoons vanilla |
1 dash salt |
Directions:
1. Combine splenda & heavy cream in saucepan cook over medium heat, constantly stirring until mixture threads. Pour vanilla over pecans in a separate dish: sprinkle with salt. Let vanilla soak in while syrup cooks. Pour syrup over pecans and stir to coat. After cool, break up into individual pieces. |
