Youâll need only three ingredients to prepare this pleasantly sweet treatment for sausage sent in by Jody Sands Taylor of Richmond, Virginia. Serve it as a main dish â¦or with toothpicks for a hearty appetizer. TIP: âFat-free or turkey kielbasa can be used instead.â Ingredients:
3 pounds johnsonville® polish kielbasa sausage or polish sausage, cut into 1-inch chunks |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1-1/2 cups ginger ale |
Directions:
1. Place sausage in a 3-qt. slow cooker; sprinkle with brown sugar. Pour ginger ale over the top. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 12 servings. |
