Make this your new favorite. Ingredients:
3 lbs corned beef brisket (comes with seasoning packet) |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon mustard |
1/4 cup corn syrup |
Directions:
1. Rinse off corned beef and put in a large pot of water. 2. Add package of spices and bring to a boil over high heat. 3. Reduce and simmer over low for 60-90 minutes. 4. Remove from pot and place in a baking dish. 5. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 60-90 minutes. 6. Mix Brown sugar, mustard, and corn syrup in a small saucepan. 7. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. 8. Pour over cooked corned beef and place back into oven for about 5-10 minutes. 9. Serve with cooked cabbage. You can add the extra glaze to the cabbage. |
