Serve celery root alongside fresh seafood for a delicious dinner tonight. It takes just minutes to prepare and is sure to satisfy. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canola oil |
1 cup celery root, peeled and diced |
2 sprigs fresh thyme |
1 fresh bay leaf |
1 cup white fish stock |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 tablespoon unsalted butter |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot; add celery root. Sauté 5 minutes or until golden brown. 2. Add thyme, bay leaf, and fish stock; bring mixture to a boil, and add sugar. Cook 5 to 6 minutes or until liquid has almost evaporated. Stir in butter, and cook until syrupy. Remove bay leaf and thyme. |
