This can easily be halved if you're not sure the kids will eat it. You'll probably be surprised that the next you make it, you'll need the whole recipe. Ingredients:
1 (2 lb) bag of carrots |
1 stick butter |
1/2 c. brown sugar |
2 (1-oz.) env. ranch dressing mix |
Directions:
1. Place the carrots into a saucepan. Add 1 inch of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside. In the same pan, combine the butter, brown sugar and dressing mix. Stir well. Add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes or until the carrots are well glazed. |
