Tender carrots are glazed with a buttery brown sugar glaze. Perfect with roast chicken, pork, or beef! This is also a very kid-friendly side dish. Enjoy! Ingredients:
6 carrots |
1 c. water |
1/2 tsp. salt |
5 -6 drops water |
1 tbsp. butter |
2 tbsp. brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Peel and slice carrots lengthwise; slice into 2-inch pieces. 2. In medium saucepan, simmer carrots 1 cup water with salt until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain. 3. Mix together butter, brown sugar, and 5 - 6 drops water in a small frying pan. Stir over low heat until you have a dark syrup. Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring to coat carrots. Serve. |
