Yummy brie! Ingredients:
1/4 cup packed brown sugar |
1/4 cup chopped nuts (your favorite kinds) |
1 tablespoon brandy |
1 (14-ounce) round brie or camembert |
apple wedges, pear wedges, celery sticks |
2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice |
crackers, for serving |
Directions:
1. Stir together the sugar, nuts, and brandy. 2. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. 3. Bake the brie for 4 or 5 minutes or until the cheese is slightly softened. Spread the sugar mixture in an even layer on top of the cheese and bake for 2 to 3 minutes longer, or until the sugar melts. Serve with the fruit , celery, and crackers. (The lemon juice is to brush on the fruit so that it doesn't brown.) |
