this is a recipe from the: Rose Manor 124 S Linden St Manheim, PA 17545-1616 Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1 egg |
3/4 cup water |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries |
1/4 cup raspberry preserves |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease & flour a 9 x 5 loaf pan. 3. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder & baking soda. 4. In small bowl, beat together egg, water & oil; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. 5. Pour into pan. Spoon preserves over batter; cut through batter with a knife to swirl. Bake for 65-70 minutes until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack |
