Fresh cilantro makes these great. Ingredients:
1 lb baby carrots |
3 -4 tablespoons butter |
2 tablespoons water |
2 tablespoons honey |
3 tablespoons orange marmalade |
1/8-1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro |
Directions:
1. Steam or boil carrots until crisp tender; drain. 2. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add water, honey, marmalade, salt, and cloves. Bring to a boil for 1 minute to reduce to a glaze consistancy. 3. Add cooked, drained carrots; sprinkle with the chopped cilantro and toss to coat well. 4. Serve. |
