An easy delicious recipe. The recipe comes from a grocery store pamphlet. Ingredients:
1 lb asparagus, washed trimmed and cut into 3-inch lengths |
4 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet; stir in sugar until dissolved; add asparagus and sauté about 2 minutes turning gently. 2. Add broth; cover and cook over low heat 3 minutes; cook uncovered about 2 minutes until sauce thickens and asparagus is tender, serve. |
