Such a delicious ice-cream treat - everyone will enjoy it!! You can substitute another ice cream flavour for the mint-chcocolate chip ice cream. Ingredients:
8 cups mint-chocolate chip ice cream |
30 chocolate wafer sandwich cookies |
3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted |
1/2 cup magic shell ice cream topping |
Directions:
1. Soften the ice cream in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, pulse the cookies in a food processor until crushed. (or crush the cookies in a re-sealable plastic bag with a rolling pin). 3. Toss the crumbs with the butter. Press into a 9x13-inch pan. 4. Freeze for 15 minutes. Drop spoonfuls of ice cream over the crumb base. Using the back of a spoon, spread ice cream evenly over the crust. 5. Freeze for at least 5 hours or until firm. Cover tightly and store in the freezer for up to 5 days. Thaw for 10 minutes at room temperature before slicing. 6. Drizzle the chocolate magic shell decoratively over each ice cream slice to garnish. |
