A family favorite Ingredients:
1 cup sugar |
1 cup shortening |
1 egg |
1 cup molasses |
3 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar, shortening, egg, and molasses. Add in remaining ingredients and mix. 2. Roll into balls, then roll balls into sugar. 3. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. |
