Turnips simmered in soy ginger sauce Ingredients:
2 lb turnips, peeled and cubed |
1/4 c beef stock |
1/2 tsp sugar |
1/2 tsp ground ginger |
2 tsp soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, simmer until turnips are tender (15 minutes). Drain, mash until fluffy, adding cooking liquid as needed for desired consistency. |
