I like this one a lot! It is so tasty. I have had this one since 1995.
Ingredients:
3 large red apples
3 large pears
2 ( 17) oz. cans of apricot halves in heavy syrup
1 (17) oz.jar of figs in heavy syrup
3/4 lb. red seedless grapes
3/4 lb. green seedless grapes
1/3 cup preserved ginger, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions:
1. About 1 1/2 hours before serving or early in the day, cut apples and pears into bite size chunks.
2. In a large bowl, drain syrup from apricots and figs. Add apples, pears, grapes, ginger and lemon juice.
3. Toss to mix well.
4. Gently stir in apricots and figs.
5. Cover bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour to blend flavors.
