Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons butter |
3 cups (1/4-inch) julienne-cut carrot (about 1 pound) |
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar |
1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed |
1/2 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add carrot 2. and sugar; stir well. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, covered, 15 minutes or until carrot is tender, stirring occasionally. Add peas, ginger, salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated. |
