Great carrot recipe bursting with flavor. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. Ingredients:
2 pounds carrots scraped |
2 tablespoons granulated sugar |
2 teaspoons cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 cup orange juice |
2 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Cut carrots diagonally into 1/4 slices. 2. Cook carrots in boiling water to cover 7 minutes or until tender then drain. 3. Keep warm in a serving dish. 4. Combine next 4 ingredients in saucepan then gradually add orange juice stirring well. 5. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. 6. Boil 1 minute stirring constantly then stir in butter and pour over carrots and toss well. |
