Gingerbread Waffles

We like to make these waffles on Christmas morning, but they are good anytime.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup margarine, melted
Directions:
1. Combine first 6 ingredients.
2. Sift into bowl and set aside.
3. Beat eggs and sugar until thick and foamy.
4. Stir in buttermilk and molasses.
5. Add to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
6. Stir in margarine.
7. Pour 1 and 1/4 cups batter onto preheated, greased waffle iron.
8. Cook until done.
9. Seve with sliced bananas and whipped cream.
