A breakfast spin on the classic holiday cookie Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
dash of ground cloves |
2 tablespoons molasses |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 egg lightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside. 2. In another bowl whisk molasses, oil, buttermilk, and egg until blended 3. Pour liquid into flour mixture and stir until mixed 4. Grease griddle and heat to medium low. |
