If you love gingerbread cookies, then get ready to drool over these delicious, gingerbread brownies. Savor the flavors of the holidays by serving these at your next soiree. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 cup baking cocoa |
1 teaspoon ground ginger |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled |
1/3 cup molasses |
2 eggs, beaten |
garnish: powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa and spices. In another bowl, combine butter, molasses and eggs. Add butter mixture to flour mixture, stirring until just combined. Spread in a greased 13 x9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into squares. |
