1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 tablespoon ginger |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/2 lb butter |
2 teaspoons cloves |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 cups flour |
Directions:
1. Heat first 8 ingredients on stove until sugar is not grainy, DO NOT BOIL. 2. Place mixture into a large bowl and beat in the soda and flour. 3. Chill over night. 4. Roll out and cut out gingerbread cut outs. 5. Bake at 350 degrees. 10-12 minutes. |
