Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 tablespoon ginger
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 lb butter
2 teaspoons cloves
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups flour
Directions:
1. Heat first 8 ingredients on stove until sugar is not grainy, DO NOT BOIL.
2. Place mixture into a large bowl and beat in the soda and flour.
3. Chill over night.
4. Roll out and cut out gingerbread cut outs.
5. Bake at 350 degrees. 10-12 minutes.
