A slightly sweet very spicy ginger bread Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon baking powder |
2 teaspoons ginger |
4 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 cup maple syrup |
1/8 cup honey |
1/4 cup olive oil |
1/3 cup skim milk |
1 egg |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingredients(taste for spices, I usually end up doing a little more or less of each depending on how it tastes to me). 2. Add wet ingredients. 3. Pour into a 8 inch round cake pan. 4. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees (or until toothpick comes clean when put in middle). |
