Ginger Sirloin Strips

A fruity flavored recipe with a perfect amount of ginger. A 30 minute meal.
Ingredients:
1 (14 ounce) can pineapple tidbits
1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 lbs beef top sirloin steaks (cut into strips)
4 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1 cup thinly sliced green onion
1 1/2 cups hot cooked rice
Directions:
1. Drain pineapple, and oranges reserving juice, set fruit aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch, and juices until smooth, and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, or`wok, stir-fry beef and ginger in oil until meat is no longer pink.
4. Add cranberry sauce, onions, and pineapple.
5. Stir cornstarch mixture and gradually add to skillet.
6. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
7. Gently stir in oranges.
8. Serve with rice.
