Rich ginger biscuits Ingredients:
3 oz butter |
2 oz sugar |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
4 oz flour |
2 oz candied ginger |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 160C/325F/Mark 3. 2. Cream the butter and the sugar together, add the sifted flour and ground ginger. Mix in the candied ginger. Bring together and then divide the mixture into 16 balls. 3. Put onto a baking sheet allowing 1 inch around each ball. Bake until pale golden (about 15 minutes), leave to cool on the tray/s and then transfer to a cooling rack. |
