This simple recipe from Southern Living, August 2001. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1 garlic clove, sliced |
1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme |
1 lb fresh green beans |
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger |
Directions:
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a jellyroll pan; add green beans, tossing to coat. 2. Bake at 400°, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. 3. Toss in ginger. 4. serves 6. |
