I'm not really big on ginger so I haven't tried this but I know there are a lot of ginger lovers out there who'd probably love this! Ingredients:
50 g crystallized ginger, diced |
1 lemon, thinly sliced |
900 ml ginger ale |
150 ml lemon squash soft drink |
600 ml water |
50 g sugar |
grated nutmeg |
6 cloves (optional) |
1 orange, zest of (optional) |
1 lemon, zest of (optional) |
Directions:
1. Put ginger & lemon in the bottom of a warmed punch bowl. 2. Heat all remaining ingredients in a pan and pour over ginger & lemon. 3. Serve hot with grated nutmeg on top. 4. For extra bite add one or more of the optional ingredients. |
