I'm not really big on ginger so I haven't tried this but I know there are a lot of ginger lovers out there who'd probably love this!
Ingredients:
50 g crystallized ginger, diced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
900 ml ginger ale
150 ml lemon squash soft drink
600 ml water
50 g sugar
grated nutmeg
6 cloves (optional)
1 orange, zest of (optional)
1 lemon, zest of (optional)
Directions:
1. Put ginger & lemon in the bottom of a warmed punch bowl.
2. Heat all remaining ingredients in a pan and pour over ginger & lemon.
3. Serve hot with grated nutmeg on top.
4. For extra bite add one or more of the optional ingredients.
