Sounds yummy Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak |
1 tablespoon oil |
2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated |
1 cup carrot, diagonally sliced |
1 cup red pepper, chopped |
1 cup green pepper, chopped |
10 ounces water chestnuts, sliced |
4 ounces snow peas, trimmed |
1 tablespoon orange rind, grated |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
Directions:
1. Slice steak into 1/4 thick slices . Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. 2. Add ginger and stir fry for one minute. Add steak and stir fry for 3 minutes, or until steak is cooked through. Remove steak and keep warm. 3. Add carrots, peppers, water chesnuts, snow peas, orange rind and cinnamon. Stir fry for three minutes, then add steak back inches. 4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir ino steak and vegetable mixture until thickened, stirring constantly. 5. Serve immediately. |
