Ginger Marinade for Chicken |

I got this marinade from a recipe for a tagine. The chicken has a wonderful flavor when cooked. Ingredients:
1 teaspoon black pepper |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon ginger |
3 medium garlic cloves, crushed |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 -1 1/2 lb skinless chicken |
Directions:
1. Blend salt, ginger, pepper, garlic, oil, & lemon juice in a bowl. 2. Take a skewer (preferably) or sharp knife & poke several holes into the chicken. 3. Rub the mixture into the chicken so that all sides are covered. 4. Place chicken into a glass bowl & cover with the remaining mixture. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours. 5. Cook the chicken either baked, broiled, or grilled. All are good. |
