this is a very easy side dish Ingredients:
3 pounds carrots, peeled and sliced |
3 cups water |
1 1/2 tsp salt |
2 tbsp butter |
2 tbsp honey |
2 tbsp lime juice |
1 tbsp grated lime peel |
1 tbsp grated ginger root |
lime slices |
Directions:
1. Cook carrots for 10 minutes in 3 cups salted water. Drain. 2. Heat butter, honey, lime juice, peel and ginger in a saucepan for 5 minutes. 3. Pour glaze over carrots and stir until well glazed. 4. Put carrots in serving dish and garnish with lime slices. |
