Adapted from a recipe in Steven Raichlen's High-Flavor Low-Fat Cooking . Ingredients:
1 1/2 inches fresh ginger, sliced (about 1.5 tablespoons) |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 tablespoon honey |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine the fresh ginger, water, honey, and lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. 2. Strain the tea into a mug. |
