These are delicious ginger lemon bars with flaked almonds. Very yummy! Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour |
1 cup icing sugar |
1/2 cup glace ginger, chopped |
3/4 cup butter, melted |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
2 tbsp. lemon juice |
2/3 cup flaked almonds |
Directions:
1. Sift flour and sugar into bowl, mix in ginger, cooled butter, egg and lemon juice. Press mixture into an 8 x 8 cake pan. Press almonds on top. Bake in 350 F oven for about 45 minutes or until golden brown, cool before removing from pan, cut when completely cooled. |
