Ginger Glazed Carrots

This is a great vegetable addition to any meat or chicken dish. I found this recipe in a magazine and make it quite often. Easy and delicious.
Ingredients:
6 medium carrots, thinly sliced (about 3 cups)
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Directions:

2. Heat 1 of water to boiling, add carrots.
3. Heat to boiling.
4. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 5 minutes.
5. Drain and set aside.

7. Cook brown sugar, butter and ginger in same saucepan over med heat, stirring constantly until bubbly.
8. Stir in carrots.
9. Cook 2-4 minutes over low heat, stirring now and then until carrots are glazed and hot.
