These tasty little gems are sure to please! Great for the holidays when making up your cookie trays for family and friends! Cooking time is per pan of cookies. Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine |
1 cup sugar |
1/4 cup molasses |
1 egg |
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste |
1 cup raisins, washed |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 300°F. 2. Cream together butter and sugar, then add molasses and egg. Mix well. 3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients, then add to creamed mixture. Blend well. 4. Stir in raisins. 5. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, then roll in sugar. 6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. |
