A vinagrette dressing from Mickey's Gourmet Cookbook. Ingredients:
7 tablespoons red wine vinegar |
5 tablespoons vegetable oil |
3 tablespoons fresh gingerroot, peeled and chopped |
1 tablespoon garlic salt |
8 tablespoons pineapple, crushed |
3 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine vinegar, oil, and fresh ginger. 2. Blend well on high speed for 15 seconds. 3. Add salt, pineapple, and sugar. 4. Blend another 15 seconds. 5. Refrigerate until ready to use. 6. Yield: 1 1/2 cups. |
