Ginger Carrot Ingredients:
1/2 cup chinablue tangy ginger sauce |
1 cup chicken broth or water |
1 pound baby carrots, peeled and trimmed |
1/4 cup toasted, sliced almonds |
Directions:
1. Marinate carrots in chinablue tangy ginger SAUCE for 5 minutes. 2. In large sauté pan bring chicken broth simmer. 3. Add carrots and marinade, bring back to simmer, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, until tender. 4. Uncover and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes until liquid is almost entirely evaporated and carrots are glazed. 5. Remove from heat. 6. Sprinkle with almonds. 7. Serve hot or at room temperature. |
