For all those who like ginger. I'm sure you will love this cake-got this recipe online!! I bake this cake in a small loaf pan-enough for 2 or 3 people. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup molasses |
1/4 cup sour cream |
1 egg |
3/4 cup flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger |
Directions:
1. Cream butter n sugar until light and fluffy. 2. Add molasses and sour cream mix thoroughly. 3. Add egg and mix well. 4. Combine the rest of the ingredients; mix thoroughly. 5. Bake at 175° c in a greased pan for about 30 minutes. |
