Crystallized ginger adds a peppery-sweet note to this apple salad, which garnered rave reviews in our Test Kitchens. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups chopped granny smith apple (1 large) |
2 cups chopped gala apple (1 large) |
1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted |
1/4 cup dried sweet cherries |
3 tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger |
2 tablespoons thawed orange juice concentrate |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 tablespoon honey |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; toss well. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
