This recipe comes courtesy of Gina McCausland. Per Gina: You could consider this a casserole/side dish or even a dessert …it can be eaten with vanilla ice cream too! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 cup butter |
1 lb velveeta cheese |
1 1/2 cups self rising flour |
2 (12 ounce) cans canned sliced apples (washed & drained) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Cream butter, sugar & velveeta cheese; add flour and mix well. 3. Place apples at the bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan then pour cheese mixture over apples. 4. Bake for 45 minutes. |
