Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
4 ounces butter |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1 large egg |
1/2 cup milk |
2 teaspoons caraway seeds |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Butter and lightly flour a 8 inch round cake pan. 3. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. 4. Cream together the butter and sugar. 5. Beat the egg into the butter mixture. 6. Add the caraway seeds. 7. Fold in the flour mixture. 8. Stir in the milk and mix well. 9. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
