Recipe for Giada's De Laurentis Everyday Italian Cookbook for Chicken Parmesan Ingredients:
1 tbsp olive oil |
1 teaspoon thyme |
1 teaspoon rosemary |
1 teaspoon parsley |
12 ounce chicken breasts |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
3/4 cup marinara sauce |
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
8 teaspoons parmesan cheese |
1 tbsp unsalted butter |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 500 degrees F 2. small bowl stir oil, herbs to blend and brush both sides of the cutlets and sprinkle with salt and pepper 3. Heat a large skillet over high flame and add cutlets untill they are brown (about 1 minute per side) 4. remove from heat 5. spoon marinara sauce over cutlets and sprinkle the cheeses over each 6. top with butter pieces and bake in oven until cheese melts and chicken is cooked (5 minutes about) |
