Can serve for special occasions along with Chicken kurma/stew . Ingredients:
3 rice cups - basmati rice , pre soaked for 25 mins and drained |
1 big onion , thinly sliced |
1 stick cinnamom |
3 cardamom , split |
3 cloves |
1 tbsp nuts and raisins |
1 screwpine leaf , cut ( optional ) |
3 tbsp ghee |
salt |
Directions:
1. Heat the ghee . 2. Fry the onion and spices along with nuts , raisins and screwpine leaves until golden . 3. Add 4.5 C rice cups of water . 4. Check the salt . 5. Once bubble forms pon the sides , transfer to rice cooker along with the rice . 6. Switch to COOK position . 7. Once done , fluff it with a fork . |
