From Madison Middle School. Ingredients:
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled |
1 1/2 cups chopped raw spinach |
1 1/2 tablespoons flour |
3/4 cup hot water |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
1 hard-boiled egg, sliced |
Directions:
1. Combine bacon and spinach. Add flour to bacon drippings and blend well. Add hot water; cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add sugar, vinegar and seasonings; pour over spinach. Stir well until wilted. Garnish with slices of hard cooked egg. |
