German-Style Spinach

Ingredients:
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 cups chopped raw spinach
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup hot water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1 hard-boiled egg, sliced
Directions:
1. Combine bacon and spinach. Add flour to bacon drippings and blend well. Add hot water; cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add sugar, vinegar and seasonings; pour over spinach. Stir well until wilted. Garnish with slices of hard cooked egg.
