German Style Hot Chicken Cabbage Slaw |

Serve this sweet-sour side dish with your favorite sausage. Ingredients:
1/4 lb chicken, diced |
2 tablespoons sugar |
4 tablespoons cider vinegar |
2 cups cabbage, shredded |
1 small onion, diced |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Brown the chicken in a large and heavy skillet. 2. Whisk in the sugar and vinegar. 3. Stir in the cabbage and onions. 4. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. 5. Cover and reduce the heat. 6. Simmer until the cabbage is tender (about 20 minutes). 7. Serve warm. |
