From Our Kitchen To Yours Ingredients:
10 -12 medium sized potatoes |
2 medium onions |
water |
1 -2 teaspoon summer savory |
1 cup heavy cream |
2 -3 cups buttermilk |
3 -4 tablespoons flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Peel, wash and cube potatoes. 2. Add chopped onions and savoury. 3. Add just enough water to almost cover the potatoes. 4. Salt to taste. 5. Boil until potatoes are tender. 6. Remove from heat. 7. Let cool a few minutes. 8. Add cream and buttermilk. 9. Return to medium low heat. 10. Slightly thicken soup with flour and water mixture. |
