Don't remember how this became a regular recipe I make but it's a good one for egg lovers Ingredients:
2 cups apple cider vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
2 tlbs mustard |
1 tbls. salt |
1 tbls. celery seed |
1 tbls. mustard seed |
6 whole cloves |
2 onions, thinly sliced |
12 hard boiled eggs, peeled |
Directions:
1. In saucepan, combine all ingredients but onion and egg 2. Bring to boil 3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes 4. Cool to room temp. 5. Put eggs and onions in jar 6. Cover with vinegar mixture 7. Refrigerate 24 hours |
