Another German warm to your tummy soup! If the Garlic sausage not at hand add your favorite German Wurst! Ingredients:
4 med. potatoes |
2tbs. olive oil |
8c. chicken stock or water |
1tsp. salt |
1/2tsp. white pepper |
2lb. kale |
1/2lb. garlic sausage or any other german wurst |
Directions:
1. Peel and chop potatoes, combine with water or stock; cook 20 min. until tender. Remove potatoes save liquid. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or sieve and return to liquid. Add salt and pepper, simmer 20 min. Wash kale; discarding tough leaves and cut to shreds. Add to potatoes cook for 25 min. Cut sausage diagonally add to soup simmer 5 min. Enjoy! |
