My dad and I made dinner every night of the week while my mom worked nightshift. Let's just say that we came up with some interesting meals. This is probably one of my favorites though. Can be made on the stovetop or in the crockpot. Ingredients:
1 lb smoked kielbasa (i like eckrich brand) |
4 -5 potatoes, and cubed large (peeled) |
2 (8 ounce) cans cut green beans |
1 dash cayenne pepper |
seasoning salt |
Directions:
1. cut up sausage into large bite size pieces, put it in a large dutch oven or in the crockpot. Add potatoes and cans of beans (with juice.) Add cayenne pepper and seasoned salt to taste. I add about 1 teaspoon of cayenne because we like it a little spicier. Then just cook until potatoes are done. When I put it in the crockpot I do low for about 8 hours or high for about 3. On the stove it can be made in less than 30minutes. |
