This is a healthy, easy cucumber salad that will be a sure hit at your next party. There won't be any leftovers! Ingredients:
4 large cucumbers, sliced |
1 onion, thinly sliced |
1 t dried dill weed |
1 c wite sugar |
1/2 c white vinegar |
1/3 c water |
1 t salt (optional) |
Directions:
1. In a large serving bowl, combine cucumbers, onions and dill. 2. In medium sized bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and water. 3. Stir well unitl the sugar desolves. 4. Pour the liquid mixture over the cucumber mixture. 5. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. 6. Marinating longer will meld the flavors. |
