A rich n delicious pie, if you like german chocolate cakes you'll like this. Ingredients:
4 ozs german chocolate |
1/4 cup butter |
11/2 cups sugar |
3tablspoons cornstarch |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups evaporated milk |

11/2 cups shredded coconut |
1/2 cup pecans |
1 unbaked 10 pie crust |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 2. In microwave melt chocolate n butter together on low setting, stirring several times to prevent burning. 3. When chocolate is melted stir in sugar,salt,vanilla cornstarch and eggs until well blended. 4. Stir in milk until smooth. 5. Pour into pie crust. 6. Mix coconut n pecans together and sprinkle evenly over pie. 7. Use a knife to cut through the coconut into chocolate mixture in several places. 8. Bake 45-50 minutes or until center is set. 9. The pie center will puff up and the top begins to crack when pie is done. |
