This German beer bread Recipe was a favorite of my fathers and well I quitely enjoy it as well. Hope you like. Ingredients:
3 cup self-rising flour |
2 tablespoon sugar, rounded |
12 oz beer, room temperature |
1 1/2 teaspoon dillweed, cheese or bacon bits (opt; ) |
1 pinch salt |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over top and bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm. |
